Oor Hoose is looking for 6 aspiring performance artists in Dumfries and Galloway aged between 16-25 to take part in their workshops and showcase event on the 19th of April.
Oor Hoose is a new community interest company based in Dumfries in the south west of Scotland. Oor Hoose strives to give young people aged between 16 and 25 the skills and platform to give them the best possible start in their potential careers as creatives.
This new programme looks to give 6 young people a one of a kind programme of workshops, including storytelling, stage prescence and business tools to give them a head start in their careers as perfoming artists. Workshops will be facilitated by co-directors Jordan Nichol and Dillon Colthart, as well as some guest facilitators from specialised creative backgrounds.
The programme is set to begin on the 7th of March 2023 at The Stove,100 High Street in Dumfries and will culminate at the end of a six week programme with a showcase event in The Stove Café on the 19th of April.
